CCIM Foundation Named Endowed Scholarship 

The Education Foundation of the CCIM Institute has been granting scholarships to deserving students and real estate professionals since 1988. Our scholarship programs are designed to encourage and assist professionals pursuing the CCIM designation and to promote high educational standards. Our programs enable exemplary professionals in the real estate industry to experience the CCIM Institute's education first hand.

The CCIM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Mission of the CCIM Foundation is to advance and foster commercial real estate education through scholarships, programs and initiatives.


About the Southern California CCIM Chapter

The Southern California CCIM Chapter serves as the focal point for quality education, networking, and market services for the commercial investment real estate specialist in Southern California by offering resources enabling the commercial investment practitioner to deliver superior service to clients and customers. The CCIM network represents multiple disciplines within the commercial real estate investment community: leasing, appraisal, commercial brokerage, investments, property management, lending/mortgage banking, legal, and development.

Gene Trowbridge CCIM Scholarship

Established – 01/01/2013

Gene Trowbridge, Esq., CCIM, is a California licensed attorney whose law practice focuses on syndication of commercial and investment real estate. Awarded the CCIM designation in 1977, he has served as a member of the CCIM faculty since 1979. Gene has served three times as the President of the Greater Southern California CCIM Chapter.  The Gene Trowbridge CCIM Scholarship was created to support qualified real estate professionals in their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation. The recipient’s qualifications should be generally commensurate with the standards, achievements, reputation and stature of CCIM Institute professionals.

Scholarship Value: Up to $1000
Scholarship Used Toward:  CCIM Core Course CI 101, CI 102, CI 103, or CI 104

SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION CRITERIA

▪ Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to their commercial real estate career.
▪ Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a member in good standing with the Southern California CCIM Chapter.
▪ The recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE

The recipient will receive a maximum of $1,000.00 (“Award”) to reimburse the cost of one of the following CCIM designation courses: CI 101, CI 102, CI 103 or CI 104. Such Award shall be payable upon receipt of evidence of recipient’s passing course grade. The recipient will be responsible for any costs/fees beyond the scholarship awarded, if applicable.
